GLASSY GEL POLISH

Multicoloured flashes and iridescent reflections are the main players, softening the brightest colours with style. Cool and striking, they are perfect for every season and occasion. If you are not particularly keen on the idea of a totally glassy look, use our glassy gel polishes for sophisticated nail designs or to give a simple manicure a boost. You can also create an interesting combination with pigments, one thing does not exclude the other. Below is an example of how the end result can be striking, chic and totally versatile. To achieve this look, we combined Glass Pink gel polish with Rose Pearl Pigment. As you can see, the end result is delicate yet eye-catching.

How to enrich your manicure

A style that goes well with everything, just like a glass of wine or a beer in company, like a fine coloured glass ornament and anything else made of this much-loved material. It is hated when it breaks, as it is sharp and can cause damage. More generally, often when something breaks we tend to throw the pieces away, whether it is a glass or a mirror. However, in this case, the fragments are enhanced, giving new life to something broken. They follow the same principle as the art of kintsugi, the Japanese philosophy that not only repairs wounds, but also enhances them. The technique consists of bringing together the fragments of the broken object and filling its cracks with gold dust, making it even more precious than before. This metaphor, initially born to fix ceramics, has been applied to various products in the fashion and interior design industries, but not only. This Passione Beauty creation takes its inspiration from kintsugi and uses Glass Blue gel polish to enhance everything hidden beneath its transparency, especially the delicate, iridescent sparkle of Holo Flakes.

GLASS SCULPTED FRENCH MANICURE

This product can be applied to Sculpted French manicure and great results are guaranteed. It is in fact the most suitable technique to experiment with, as the coloured transparencies allow all the layers and applications to be shown. In our case we used red, pigmented but glassy like a precious ruby.

Another way to try your hand at this style are tortoiseshell nails, which are cyclically back in fashion and go with every outfit. It is usually best suited to the cold season, characterised by subdued colours. We have created it with yellow gel polish, a colour that could look purely summery if it were not in a glassy version. It is the trump card for perfect layering, the best technique for achieving a tortoiseshell manicure. The glassy yellow blends perfectly with brown tones, bonding with them without covering them up.

Another look to be created with the glass effect are marble nails, which are easy to do thanks to the lack of patterns to follow. We used pink to give an extra touch of glamour to a marbled manicure with a simple base. Thanks to the glassy effect, the nail art is elegant and discreet but still original. In order to create it all you have to do is to build your structure layer with Milky Builder, cure and matt the surface, then apply Base/Top without curing the nails you choose to decorate. On the latter draw the marble veins with Glass Pink gel polish, using Trendy Liner Brush, then cure. Next, apply Milky Rose on all fingers, cure and seal with Ultra Gloss transparent top coat.
