This trend got viral thanks to Chiara Ferragni, the multi-millionaire Italian influencer whose entrepreneurial success was taken as a case-study at Harvard University. Her first video of this futuristic manicure posted on Instagram showed a nude pink with a three-dimensional effect that changed colour depending on perspective and light. This style, both fanciful and rock, it quickly won everyone over. However, this effect caught on especially with dark colours, such as black, purple, blue, indigo and green. The final result is outstanding hands! How does it work

This technique requires the use of a magnet but it’s easier than it looks. Our suggestion is first to apply and cure Black Extra gel polish (the colour applied later will stand out more). We then apply our favourite shade and we don’t cure. Now it’s time to use the magnet! Please note: you must choose one side and keep it for the whole manicure! If the opposite pole is used, we risk dispersing the pigments. In fact, the product contains metal micro-particles inside that react to the movements of the lodestone, so it’s mandatory to don’t change side to avoid the risk of using different poles. The magnet has to be placed first near the cuticle, then on both sides and finally on the tip of the nail, remaining at least five seconds on each side. During this process the micro-particles react, after that you can proceed with the polymerisation. The last coat is done with Gloss Top to seal and finish the manicure.
