How many times have you been undecided on which builder gel to use? There are so many and it is not always easy to guess the best one for our needs. It is important to know the difference between monophasic, biphasic and triphasic gels, discussed in the dedicated article. What differentiates them, apart from the density, is how you can use them. What differentiates them, apart from the colouring, is the density. Those with medium-low density have a more liquid consistency, are suitable for short lengthening and need to be worked quickly. Those with medium-high density are stiffer to work with and better for longer extensions, suitable for large areas to be covered with more margin for error.
