Monophasic, biphasic and triphasic builder gels
No more doubt about the builder gel to use
How many times have you been in doubt about which builder gel to use? There are many and it is not always easy to guess the best one for our needs, which is why it is important to know the difference between monophasic, biphasic and triphasic. To find out more about the characteristics of each one, read the dedicated article and rely on your nail technician! She will certainly know which product will work best on your nails. What distinguishes them, apart from density, is the way you can use them. Discover all the properties of our builders and find the perfect one for you!
MONOPHASIC or SINGLE/ONE-PHASE GEL
Sculpting nails involves three essential tasks: creating the base, building the structure and sealing the manicure. The single-phase gel performs all these functions in one product, simplifying the work of the nail technician. It is very practical but in the case of difficult nails to treat, a two-phase or three-phase builder is recommended. This will allow you to work with a product with a specific formula for each client's needs. We offer a wide range of one-phase builders; you will find their names and properties in the tables below. They are acid-free and have a powerful blue filter that prevents them from yellowing over time. Those in our Master collection release very little (if any) heat in the lamp. This feature makes them perfect for the most sensitive hands and the summer period.Whether monophasic, biphasic or triphasic, the main element that differentiates builder gels is their density. Those with low and low-medium density have a particularly liquid consistency, are suitable for medium-short lengthenings and need to be worked quickly. Those with medium-high and high density are stiffer to work with, better for longer extensions and perfect for large areas to be covered with more margin for error.

Attention: This all-in-one formula does not exclude nail preparation! It is necessary to carry out a proper Russian Manicure, apply Nail Prep and Binder. Next, the Nail Form is applied and the slip layer is created over the entire nail surface, without touching the cuticles. You then build the apex and your structure is almost done! After each application has cured, you can remove the sticky layer and file. If you treat particularly difficult nails but still want to use a one-phase, you can! Before any application, however, apply a base coat to help the product adhere.
BIPHASIC GEL or TWO-PHASE GEL
Less well known yet an excellent product for speeding up execution time. It can be used both as a base and for building the structure. It is also particularly suitable for creating the C-curve. As it does not serve as a sealant, it leaves you free to choose the finish you want for your nails! Palladium Extra is our two-phase, medium-high viscosity with self-levelling properties. It is also well suited for sculptural extensions, small corrections and refills. This product also requires proper nail preparation and the use of Nail Prep and Binder.
TRIPHASIC or THREE-PHASE GEL
Triphasics only serve for the nail lengthening stage. You will therefore need a base coat to apply first and a top coat to apply later. The two specific bases you can apply are Extrema Base and Alpha, as for top coats you are spoilt for choice! Triphasics allow you to do very precise work according to the characteristics of the clients' nails, as there are different types.-
